About Thorsten

Thanks for taking the time visit my website. I am a German expat living in Kirkland in the beautiful state of Washington. I got interested in photography in 2007 and quickly started focusing on landscapes.

Having grown up in the heavily populated Germany I'm fascinated with the vast, wild, and incredibly diverse landscapes found in the United States. I love hiking in America's National Parks — three of which can be found in my home state, along with countless other scenic locations — and enjoy capturing both grand vistas in beautiful light as well as intimate scenes just waiting to be discovered by visitors with an open mind and open eyes.
